Cantar as Janeiras... Sing "As Janeiras"

Todos os anos, pela altura dos Reis, lá vai a escola da Filha Happy cantar as Janeiras.
Aqui entre nós, a Filha Happy não é uma maravilha a cantar.. mas lá foi toda contente... Felizmente, é um coro grande, pensa a Mãe Happy!


Every year, by the time of Kings, there goes the school of Daughter Happy sing "As Janeiras".
Here between us, Daughter Happy is not very talented in singing, but there she was, so happy... Fortunately it is a large choir, thinks Mother Happy. 

Almoço a dois... Lunch for two..

No espírito que namorar é sempre bom, hoje o Pai e a Mãe Happy foram almoçar a um restaurante vegetariano de que eles muito gostam ali para os lados de Oeiras.
A ementa um espectáculo e a simpatia do pessoal, muito agradável! E sempre muito mimo entre o casal.


In the spirit that dating is always good, today Father and Mother Happy went to lunch at a vegetarian restaurant that they really like there to sides of Oeiras.
The menu was show and friendliness of staff, very nice! And always very love between the couple.

Os trabalhos que os filhos arranjam... The work that children arrange ...

Estava a Mãe Happy sossegada a pensar que a época de bolos já tinha passado, quando hoje a Filha Happy vem pedir que ela faça um bolo para levar para a escola amanhã.
Oh pobre mãe, que lá tem que largar o que estava a fazer, para ir partir ovos e bater a massa... e ainda ter atenção ao forno, para não deixar aquilo queimar.


Happy Mother was quietly thinking that cakes season was over, when today's Daughter Happy comes to ask her to make a cake to take to school tomorrow.
Oh poor mother, that there has to drop what was doing, to go crack eggs and beat the dough ... and still pay attention to the oven, for don't let it burn.

Pensamentos de início de ano... Thoughts of new year

A Mãe Happy adora ir para o telhado pensar. Quando o tempo o permite, lá vai ela pela janela, sentar-se nas telhas, a ver a linda vista de mar que de lá se observa e pensa.
E nada como esta altura de início do ano para planear, pensar, sonhar... projectar... e o tempo tem ajudado, por isso por estes dias é comum vê-la lá em cima, muitas vezes a ouvir as bandas sonoras do Hans Zimmer que ela tanto gosta.


Mother Happy loves to go to the roof to think. When the weather allows, there she goes out the window, sitting on the tiles, to see the beautiful sea that observes from there and thinks.
And nothing like this time of year to start planning, thinking, dreaming ... projecting ... and weather is helping, so these days it is common to see her up there, often listening to the movies soundtracks of Hans Zimmer that she likes so much.

Dieta! Diet!

A Mãe Happy leu por aí, que dia 2 de Janeiro é dia de entrar em dieta, depois dos abusos do Natal e Ano Novo... Mas no caso da Mãe Happy tem que ser a 3 por causa do aniversário da Avó Happy a 2 de Janeiro. E não é só do Natal e Ano Novo... é mesmo o mês todo de Dezembro que é uma calamidade... ou esquecem-se que a Filha Happy faz anos a 8?
Por isso... nos próximos tempos... muito cuidado com o que se come!


Mother Happy has read online that the 2nd of January is the day for begining a diet, after the abuses of Christmas and New Year. But in Mother Happy's case it can only start at 3 because of Granda's birthday on 2 January.  And its not only from the Christmas and New Year... it's because all month... or are you forgetting that Daughter Happy's birthday is on 8th December?
So.. for the next times, beware of what will eat.

Parabéns Avó Happy... Happy Birthday Grandma Happy

Hoje é o dia de aniversário da Avó Happy e apesar dela ainda estar a recuperar de uma cirurgia, a Mãe Happy não pode deixar de lhe dar os parabéns e a Filha Happy de lhe levar um bolo de aniversário!

Today is the birthday of Grandma Happy and even she is still recovering from the surgery, Mother Happy couldn't stop herself from giving her a big birthday kiss and Daughter Happy a birthday cake!

Da Mãe e do Pai Happy foi darem umas valentes beijocas. Afinal, que melhor maneira existe de entrar num ano?
A Filha Happy é que não resistiu e entrou no ano a dormir uma sestinha, sempre bem acompanhada pelo Sebastião Happy!
