Dia de telefonemas... Day of phone calls

Há dias em que o telefone da Mãe Happy pode estar no silêncio o dia inteiro que não toca... não são assim tantos, mas acontece.
Mas hoje, foi um corropio de chamadas... vamos a ver se se concretizam todas elas...


There are days, that Mother Happy phone can be on silence, because never rings... not so often, but happens. 
But today, were a hustle of calls... we'll see if all materialize...

Desde os longínquos anos da "Casa dos Espíritos", que a Mãe Happy tem uma certa admiração por este senhor.
Então, hoje, e graças a um convite inesperado, foi assistir à gravação de um programa de televisão, o 5 para a meia noite, onde ele era o convidado principal.
Digamos que a Mãe Happy gostou muito. Do seu sentido de humor, das suas opiniões e do seu fantástico timbre vocal que é música para os seus ouvidos! :)


Since the distant years of the "House of the Spirits", Mother Happy keeps a certain admiration for this gentleman.
So, today, thanks to an unexpected invitation went to see the recording of a television program, 5 para a meia noite ("5 to midnight") , where he was the chief guest.
We can say that Mother Happy liked. His sense of humor, his opinions and his fantastic vocal timbre that is music to her ears! :)

O 1º PicNic do ano... The 1st PicNic of the year

Finalmente um dia a cheirar a Primavera, e por isso, os Pais Happy, lá decidiram fazer o primeiro pic nic do ano. É que eles muito gostam de ir almoçar só os dois, para um jardim e apanhar solinho enquanto comem do tuppeware. É uma forma de apanhar ar, sol, e sem gastar muito dinheiro! :)

Finally one day with the smell of spring, so, the Parents Happy, decided to make the first picnic of the year. It's what they really like to do in lunch time. Just the two for a garden and eat from the tuppeware while tan a little . It's a way to get some air, sun, and without spending much money! :)

Ida ao cinema... Trip to the movies

Com a crise e com o facto de não terem muitas vezes com quem deixar a Filha Happy, fez com que o acto de ir ao cinema, a dois, se tornasse um luxo na casa da Happy Family, até porque acontece muito raramente.
Mas hoje é o dia. O Pai Happy vai levar a Mãe Happy ao cinema!


With the economical crisis and the fact that is not often they leave Daughter Happy with someone, has made the act of going to the movies, only the couple, became a luxury in the Happy Family's house, because it happens very rarely.
But today is the day. Father Happy will lead Mother Happy to the movies!

A conta da electricidade... The electric bill...

Depois de um máximo histórico no início deste ano, na casa da Happy Family resolveram pedir uma diminuição de potência. Para experimentar. E deviam tê-lo feito mais cedo, dado que o quadro eléctrico nunca foi abaixo, e conseguem manter em funcionamento todos os aparelhos eléctricos que tinham antes da alteração. Mas, o objectivo de pagar menos... bem, não foi totalmente superado, viu hoje a Mãe Happy quando recebeu a conta e ia tendo um ataque cardíaco. Entretanto já percebeu que se esqueceram de dar a leitura e por isso foi por estimativa. Ora bolas!

After a record earlier this year, in the home of the Happy Family decided to ask for a reduction of power. To experiment. And they should have done it sooner, since the electric panel was never down, and can keep running all electrical appliances as were before the change. But in order to reduce the bill ... well, it was not fully addressed, as Mother Happy saw today when she received the bill and almost have a heart attack. However now they realized that forgot to give reading and so was by estimate. Oh shit!

O portátil está de volta, mas... The laptop is back, but...

O problema afinal não era na motherboard... era mesmo no disco, por isso. Tudo o que a Mãe Happy lá tinha e que por esquecimento, ou por estar a trabalhar nisso no exacto momento em que o computador morreu, foi perdido para todo o sempre.
De momento a Mãe Happy está a tentar superar o choque, para depois, deitar mãos à obra e recomeçar o que estava a fazer.


The problem after all, wasn't with the motherboard. It was really the hard disk, so, everything that Mother Happy had over there and forgotten to make backup, or the file she was doing when the computer died, is lost forever. 
At the moment the Mother Happy is trying to recover from the shock, later, she is going to put her hands into work and start doing what she was doing. 

O portátil da Mãe Happy está doente... Mother Happy's laptop is sick

O portátil da Mãe Happy, com menos de um ano de vida, morreu. Aparentemente foi a Motherboard.
Está, de momento, nas mãos dos senhores, a ver se o ressuscitam e de preferência sem perder o que está no disco, porque ele resolveu morrer, durante a execução de um trabalho moroso e que convinha não ser perdido.
Entretanto, a Mãe Happy tem estado a tentar usar outros computadores, mas as saudades do seu a 64 bits são muito grandes.
E é este o motivo de tantos dias sem novidades aqui no blog!


The Happy Mother's laptop, less than a year old, died. Apparently it was the motherboard.

Aceitam-se encomendas... We are accepting orders

A Mãe Happy tem jeito para o desenho. E gosta muito de desenhar! Então, está a aceitar encomendas para fazer os retratos de quem quiser. Para isso só têm que enviar umas fotografias da pessoa por email e pagar 20*. O resultado será enviado por email, em formato de alta definição.

Happy Mother has a knack for drawing. And loves to draw! So, she is accepting orders to make portraits of anyone. For this you only have to send some photographs of the person by email and pay 20 *. The result will be mailed in high definition format.

Fim de semana entre amigas! Weekend between friends!

Este fim de semana foi de raparigas.. muita conversa, umas gargalhadas, uns programas de tv foleiros, um certo tom crítico... Coisas que sabem bem de vez em quando. Obrigada T. e A., a Mãe Happy gostou!

This weekend was about girls.. lot of talk, some laughs, some cheesy tv programs, one kind of criticism tone.. Things that taste so good once in a while. Thanks T. and A., the Mother Happy loved. 

Benfica...

Ah grande Benfica, que em dia dos namorados foi à Alemanha ganhar!!!! Muito bem, muito bem... continua assim a cimentar a relação amorosa que a Mãe Happy gosta!

Oh great Benfica, which went on Valentine's Day to Germany and won!! Very well, very well ... therefore continues to cement the love relationship that Mother Happy likes!

Dia de São Valentim... St. Valentine's Day

Os Pais Happy já são namorados há muitos anos. Mas nunca foram fãs deste dia. Acreditam que isto é uma manobra comercial, só para fazer as pessoas gastarem dinheiro e que o que supostamente se deve fazer neste dia, deve ser feito o ano inteiro.
Por isso.. comemorar este dia.. não... comemorar o namoro? Todos os dias!


Happy Parents are already lovers for many years. But never were fans of this day. They believe that this is a commercial maneuver, just to make people spend money and what is supposed to do on this day, should be done all year round.
Therefore .. celebrate this day .. not ... celebrate the courtship? Every day!

Regresso à escola... Back to school..

Primeiro foi a constipação. Depois o Carnaval. Por isso, há cerca de 1 semana e meia que a Filha Happy não ia à escola. E isso é mau. Ela gosta de ir, sente saudades dos colegas e quer ir brincar com eles.
Hoje já voltou a ir e lá foi ela de enorme sorriso.
Ainda virá a época, em que ela desejará ficar em casa, mas por enquanto, ela já estava impaciente. E os Pais Happy também!


First it was the flu. After the Carnival. Therefore, there are about 1 week and a half that Daughter Happy was not going to school. And that's bad. She likes to go, misses the colleagues and want to go and play with them.
Today she finally went and there was a huge smile in her face.
There will be time, she will want to stay home, but for now, she was impatient to return. And the Parents Happy too!

A Mãe Happy já não tem 20 anos... Mother Happy has no longer 20 years

Ontem a noite foi muito gira. A Mãe Happy e a amiga A. fartaram-se de dançar. Foi um fartote de rir. Muito, muito bom.
Mas hoje a Mãe Happy está com os pés doridos. E as pernas. E as costas. E os ouvidos. E pronto, a noção clara que já não tem mais 20 anos.
E que está com falta de hábito destas andanças.


Yesterday the night was very good. Mother Happy and her friend A. danced a lot. Was a blast of laughing. Very, very good. 
But today Mother Happy has her feet sore. As the legs. And the back. And the ears. And the clear notion that she has no longer 20 years old.  
And that she is lacking the practising of these programs. 

E hoje a Mãe Happy vai dançar! And today, Mother Happy will dance!

A Mãe Happy há anos que se deixou de saídas.. e não teve a ver com a maternidade... digamos que se foi desencantando com a noite, com a música que tocam nos sítios, e depois, veio o comodismo e enfim.
Mas hoje, com a amiga A. vai ser dançar até que os pés aguentem!


Mother Happy for years that no longer goes out at night .. and it wasn't related with motherhood ... she become disenchanted with the night, with the music they play on the places, and then came the complacency and finally she eventually stoped doing it.
But today, with her friend A. they will be dancing until the feet hold out!

Dizem que é Carnaval! They say it's Carnival!

Hoje por acaso a Mãe Happy foi à Primark.. e já que é Carnaval.. resolveu experimentar algumas das peças que eles lá têm e que, na sua opinião, só mesmo para usar nesta altura do ano é que servem!
